The captain is making his return.
Mark Stone will take to the ice for the first time in over a month when the Vegas Golden Knights host the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.
He is expected to play on the second line alongside Mitch Marner and Brett Howden following Wednesday’s morning skate.
Stone, 33, has not played since Oct. 18 due to a wrist injury, missing the Golden Knights' last 17 games.
The Winnipeg native had been off to a hot start to the season before his absence, recording 13 points (two goals and 11 assists) in six games.
Stone suited up for Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off this past February and is among the candidates to make the team for the 2026 Olympics in Italy.
